We were looking for prices of tickets from SLC to Washington to see if we could fly out there to spend Thanksgiving with Scott, but instead we found really great tickets from SLC out to GA. It was $187 round trip to Washington, and $138 round trip out to GA. So (with Scott's okay!) we bought tickets out to GA to go see my family in October instead and we are just going to see what we can do about Thanksgiving! My sister found the same deal today and she bought tickets for Mom and Naomi to come out and visit us next April as well!
