My sweetie got to his destination safe and sound. This is a picture he took from the back of the apartments he will be staying at. (isn't it gorgeous?!) It backs up to Silver Lake, and he says the area feels very rustic and lodgish, but the apartment is very modern and up dated. It still hasn't kicked in that he is really gone yet, but one night without him is down, and only 113 more to go!

Oh my, your fridge is teeny tiny!!! How in the world do you live? Do you have to go grocery shopping multiple times a week since you can't fit too many perishables and condiments in there at the same time - or do you just not do condiments at all? How funny!
I'm glad you got a working fridge again, though! Life stinks without those things we've grown to think of as necessities!
We do alright since it's just the two of us - plus we have a freezer that's the same size, which does help. I have NO idea what we'd do with 4 kids, though! And FYI, our old fridge didn't have a freezer compartment, but this does - that space there on the top on the right side is meant to be shut up as a freezer, which means even less space for fridge stuff! I honestly don't know how families cope over here! 'American'-style fridges cost a lot, and most houses don't have them.
What a pretty view from your sweetie's apartment! I'll have to put up a ticker so we can count down the days till he's home!
